The term “artificial intelligence” refers to the development of computer systems that employ large amounts of data to perform “intelligent” tasks such as visual perception, natural language interpretation, reasoning, and decision-making. Machine learning is a method of developing such systems that involves giving the computer examples of what it should do and allowing it to figure out (learn) how to accomplish it.
